PROJECT MANAGEMENT
A project manager is the leader of the construction team who drives the project forward to ensure it gets completed on time and within budget, and that the project's quality and design briefs are met fully and in line with the concept proposals.
Project managers can coordinate the whole process and are usually one of the first appointments to be made by the client. They will advise on the other consultants and experts who may be needed, and are able to create a programme to set out key milestones to meet. They will oversee the project to ensure that the team provides the correct information at the right time and maintain an efficiency in the process to keep pace with the programme.
As project management is a discipline independent from design production, MPA are perfectly placed to offer this role to allow the designers to concentrate on creating the best possible scheme without distraction. With an understanding of the coordination of structural elements, building services requirements and the local planning and building regulations, we can add positivity and value with a fully controlled and directed presence.
