Kensington Roof Gardens, situated on top of the former Derry and Toms building on Kensington High Street is the largest roof garden in Europe, and provides panoramic views over west London. It is also the site for London's only rooftop private members club and the glamorous Babylon Restaurant.
This particularly difficult and complex fast track project comprised the refurbishment of the landmark club and the construction of a new 7th floor to house the restaurant. Site restrictions were extremely onerous, with limited access and a small window of vacant possession available to undertake the works.
