The refurbishment of the New Bond Street store for one of the world's premier watchmakers, Patek Philippe, designed by Paris based international design architects AW2 was opened in December 2014.
The new store incorporated complex structural works to connect the existing Patek salon and the former Watches of Switzerland store next door. A new security rated glazed facade was provided with a new entrance formed from Bond Street.
A bespoke self supporting spiral staircase connects the ground floor salon with a new basement customer service centre - with a window to see directly into the watchmakers laboratory.
Furniture was provided from France and Switzerland with the main shell build and finishes completed by UK contractors.
MPA were appointed as local Project Manager in cooperation with Patek's in-house project manager, Stephane Frappat, and as Quantity Surveyor on this prestigious project.
