We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Level Quantity Surveyor in our London office.

Ideally with 4-5 years post-graduate experience and who is looking to make the next move in their career.

MPA is a London-based PQS firm which provides cost management in the design-led retail, restaurant and residential sectors and we are looking to expand and strengthen our existing team.

The Individual

We are looking for an individual who is highly-motivated, confident and with the ability to deliver high-quality written work with an eye for detail. The candidate must be able to work independently, but equally be able to integrate effectively as a team player. The willingness to learn and take on a high level of responsibility is essential.

About the Role

The individual should hold either a RICS accredited degree, post-graduate diploma or similar conversion qualification and have a good grounding in quantity surveying duties from feasibility stage to closing final accounts. The individual should ideally have some experience of client facing roles; however, a deep understanding of how to conduct accurate cost management is as important.

· Full-time position

· Previous experience of project surveyor level responsibilities and duties advantageous

· RICS qualified preferred, but those working towards taking APC will be considered

Fucina Launches in Marylebone

Fucina, the latest Italian dining concept from Kurt Zdesar has opened on the corner of Chiltern Street and Paddington Street, Marylebone. MPA acted as the Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors for the build of both the dining areas and the adjacent deli on Paddington Street.

An outstanding feature of the restaurant, designed by Andy Martin Architetcs, are the ‘warped' brick ceilings, formed to be reminiscent of the inside of a traditional pizza oven.

The 110 cover dining space, over two floors, was realised in 16 weeks.
