This distinctive project comprised the demolition of an existing uninspiring temple, which had itself been converted from an old Labour Party community hall, and the construction of a new three storey temple of rich character.
The new ornate facade and domes were constructed from authentic handcarved Indian sandstone and installed on site by Rajasthani stonemasons. Internally the temple has a more contemporary feel, including several feature rooflights and a bespoke metal and glass staircase.
