This striking project for a private client combined two distinct elements; the renovation and refurbishment of an existing listed manor house together with the construction of a new contemporary indoor swimming pool and spa complex.
The existing manor house, which still relied upon several original Tudor foundations, was renovated to modern living standards including the insertion of a new feature staircase and the sympathetic redecoration of period rooms. The new pool house included a traditionally thatched roof, frameless glazed facades and a stone clad surround to a heated pool and jacuzzi with particular consideration being given to atmospheric control.
