  • Back

This residential project included the demolition of an existing third floor on top of an existing office building, then the construction of two new storeys to provide 2 penthouses and 2 apartments.

The construction utilised a cross laminated timber frame construction and a anodized aluminium and glazed curtain walling cladding.

Particular difficulties of the project included the construction of a new lift core to serve the new residences and having to overcome numerous logistical problems including, location of a tower crane within an internal courtyard, restrictions on oversailing of adjoining properties and rights of light / party wall restraints.
